Betty and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary this coming September. We have 3 daughters (born in Illinois) and 3 sons (born in Ohio) who have given us 17 grandchildren. The grandchildren range in age from 21 years old down to 6 weeks old. It is a little difficult to get everyone together at the same time, so our family picture is usually not up-to-date. This family picture is missing 1 wife and 6 grandchildren that have been added since it was taken. I work at an elementary school as a "sanitary engineer" trying to keep up with over 400 little "crumb crushers." I have been with the school district for over 14 years and hope to retire in a few years (although I think I would need to do something-maybe be a "greeter" at Wal-Mart). Betty has worked at Kent State University for 14 years in admissions and records and would like to retire "sooner than later!!" We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!! |
