I moved to Oregon in 1968 and with a few exceptions have lived here since. I taught and counseled for 17 years at the University of Oregon and then taught another 10 years for a cyberspace university, teaching classes online. I married Jack Loughary in 1987 who had a longer stint at the University of Oregon than I. Currently I'm volunteering in the local schools and writing and researching family history.
