MIND ISSUES:

Sites included in this section seem to begin with psychological concerns. At issue here is that you can not see the mind. It is an abstract construct but most people recognize that it is a valid construct, even used in everyday conversation."As the teacher said, "That kid is driving me out of my mind!"" Thus, the sites included in this section are concerned with problems that first appear in one's head.

Analyzing Constraints: a procedure for sorting fact from sloppy thinking in situations when we conclude that external forces prohibit us from pursuing our desires.

Selecting Leisure: Beginning by clarifying your desired personal payoffs before initiating activities may have real payoffs.

Email Humor: Bits and pieces selected from email.

MentalHelp.net bills itself as the “oldest and largest online mental health directory guide and community.” Worth a look if you are searching for mental health resources, which number over 9,000 indexed according to their home page.

Financial Times Mind Links Oct. 2006:

  • www.lulu.com is a document publishing system. The home page provides an overview of the publishing process. Before starting the link it would be a good idea to make notes about what you want to publish. It seems to ThinkPint that a good way to begin is to read the read the linked page and note the answers to the questions before you begin responding to the questionnaire. It appears to be a legit system for getting your document into print and even marketing it. But, like most of life, there is no free lunch. If you have the time and patience and want to publish, Lulu appears to be an option worth reviewing.
