WEB WANDERINGS:

It is safe to say that every aspect of life potentially can effect one's Well Being. Traditional categories of concerns include finances, relationships, family, education, legal, spiritual, occupational, governmental to name several. Web sites are increasingly concerned about such concerns as they relate to individual and group well being. Sites included in this section are related to such concerns and are added as we discover them.

AARP The Magazine is a well known and aimed at the 50 and older set(s) It addresses a wide range of topics related to Personal Well Being. Probably a bit cute for some, AARP The Magazine is still one of the best buys concerned with Personal Well Being. You probably know that, but do you know that AARP also operates several web sites? The basic web address is: www.aarp.org which takes you to a directory and information page. It is easy sailing from there. When you connect to the AARP web site, take a few minutes and browse the categories listed across the top of the page. With each click of your mouse you may discover a raft of interesting topics, many of which had not occurred to you. Make a few notes and then return for a closer look.

Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ is an easy to use computer based encyclopedia containing over 1.5 million entries. It is an excellent research and writing tool. It is free and has some disadvantages, some say. Nearly everyone writing and researching seeking kinds of information typically contained in a paper encyclopedia will probably find Wikipedia useful.

Simply click on the link and then select the beginning character of the term in question. A list of terms for that letter letter of the alphabet will appear. Walt updates the glossary periodically, some of the definitions are as late as 2006.
